What used to be the Video Warehouse in Van Ness is going to be the home of two businesses: Potbelly, which is already here, and Wachovia which is "Coming Soon." We know it's coming soon because the writing is on the wall. Why we're getting another Wachovia when there's already one three doors down is anyone's guess. Maybe they're out to eliminate that Sandwich Shop Capital of the World" moniker that the area is deservedly proud of and change it to, "Van Ness: it's a Wachovia World."

Rumor is that Wachovia is leaving the UDC building due to a pending renovation of that building. Thus, they are in effect moving to the new location.
They could really badly use a good coffee shop around Van Ness Metro station. I wonder why Starbucks or Cosi hasn't noticed this yet?
A Starbucks sign just went up in Van Ness where Sirius Coffee used to be.

It's true - Wachovia is being kicked out of the UDC building. Also, yay for Starbucks! And can we also mention how much everyone loves the new Italian Pizza Kitchen?? Now Van Ness just needs one cute little bar....
There are unconfirmed reports that Indian Ocean is now open.
